
I am barely seeing how the files work and any help would be great. Is there any warning using this kind of mods, could they be safely put on the mod folder provided the folder structure is created? Would be possible to create effect files by itself. I think these mods are old and the mod support wasn't made yet.

However I have seen mods by ActionJack where he tells to place all the content in the actual folders of the game instead of the mod folder and to enable the location plus, he also tells to edit the effects file adding text lines at the bottom, which is a dangerous way because you alter a game file. If that doesnt work, the mods are probably available somewhere else, like NexusMods. I have seen that recent mods are released to be put on the mod folder and load them stacked by priority even in current games. You would have to copy the mod files into the game files itself, following the specific modding instruction (match the folders really) and running localization.bat if you add any new heroes from modding. 1 Since the two are different architechtures, I would first try my luck at adding the game to steam as an 'outside sourced game', maybe it will let you.
